Volunteering NZ aims to create a well informed NZ public on our volunteering cause. Hence, we provides  the information and advice on all issues volunteering.

Our small team is knowledgable of volunteering related legislations and how they might affect work of the organisations involving volunteers. We advise the organisations how to face the legal challenges related to volunteers and how work inspite of them.

We also collect and disseminate various resources relevant to development of volunteering to facilitate everyone working with or managing volunteers. Our online databalse of avaliable research is an ongoing project with new resources being added on a regular basis. We also stock a small amount of books and manuals in our office and some of them are available for purchase.

To support volunteering events, we provided number of resources such as tool kits, posters, flyers, stickers, balloons and other promotional materials depending on the event and available financial means.

Through our monthly newsletter VNZ Update we inform more than 400 subscribers about current volunteering affairs such as new legislations, events, initiatives and projects.
